What can a grab lorry take?
Soil, clay, rubble, hardcore, concrete and green waste. Some materials, such as plasterboard, asbestos or mixed household waste, can’t go in. Ask if you’re unsure.
Do I need a permit?
No. Unlike a skip, the grab lorry loads and leaves, so nothing is left on the road and no council permit is needed.
How far can the grab reach?
The crane arm reaches several metres, so it can load over walls, fences and hedges from the road. Tell us about the access when you book.
How quickly can you come out?
